The Man Who Was Thursday

I recently finished The Man Who Was Thursday by G.K. Chesterton and it's left me wondering what day I would be.

While wondering that question I started reading up on the creation of the world according to Genesis and looked at each day and it's creations. That made me start to wonder why it took God six days to make the world. I guess he just really likes being symbolic.

I also looked at Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam and saw that God was trying hard to reach out to Adam with one arm fully extended and the other holding on to angels for support. Adam on the other hand is casually laying down with one hand less than fully extended and with a relaxed wrist. All Adam had to do was move his wrist or arm a little or even prop himself up different and he'd be touching God's hand. Lazy ass.
